Vista Pacific Organic Waste Program

Good afternoon Residents: A flyer and manual regarding the mandatory organic waste program that the city has implemented with our rubbish removal provider Athens Service as of July 1, 2022 is available in the Resident Portal of the website in the "Notices" section.

As you review the information and what types of waste are permitted in the bin, please consider how what you deposit in the bin could affect the sanitation in the parking garage, and in turn in your community. In the interest of preventing pests from being attracted to the bin, the Board requests that you refrain from depositing the following items even though they are permitted-----

1. Meat, Bones & Poultry Waste

2. Seafood & Soft Shells

3. Pet Food

Organic waste pick-up is every Tuesday and Thursday.

The Association would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Dylan Mathis (102) and Mark Holmes (106) who are donating their time each week to haul the organic waste bin to the street for pick up and return it to the parking garage afterward. Their efforts are going saving The Association $100.00 on the monthly trash bill. We will be looking for more volunteers in the future…….
